THIS OPPORTUNITY IS BASED IN SANDY SPRING, MD



Brooke Grove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a seasoned innovative RN professional to passionately lead our nursing team in our busy state of the art 190 bed nursing and rehabilitation center.



The Director of Nurses (DON) works in conjunction with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure services and care meet patients’ needs in line with five star quality standards, and state and federal regulations. The right candidate will be a motivated professional team player who enjoys leading and supporting interdisciplinary projects to continually improve services, stay industry relevant, and build staff efficiencies and proficiencies. In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Nurses (ADON), the DON directs the professional standards and activities of the nursing staff and is accountable for meeting the departments’ staffing and supply budgets.



Candidates must have three to five years’ recent experience in geriatric skilled care in a supervisory capacity. The right candidate will have current knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, applicable technology, laws, and skilled care regulatory requirements. Current MBON license and CPR also required. The candidate who is selected for this role will be a strong compassionate professional with fine-tuned people, organizational, strategic thinking, and supervisory skills.
