Brooke Grove is currently welcoming compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) with post-acute experience to join our team of  professional, dedicated local heroes caring for seniors in our Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  We have flexible scheduling options; shifts are 12-hours.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities are noted below (other duties may be assigned):

•         Provide skilled nursing care and personal care services to patients.

•         Coordinates and monitors delivery of care provided by geriatric nursing assistants.

•         Performs patient assessment and completes all clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

•         Works with nursing administration and health care team members to assure follow through of patient care and care plans.

•         Coordinates and monitors duties performed by geriatric nursing assistants; provide assistance, coaching and verbal/written disciplinary action when necessary.

•         Contacts physicians, specialists and other care providers to ensure appropriate communication and follow through of patient care.

•         Administers treatments and medications as prescribed, coordinates ordering of lab tests, exams and medical services as necessary.

•         Performs required medical documentation and maintains clinical records in an accurate and timely manner.

•         Communicate with and accompanies medical staff director on rounds as needed.

•         Directly supervise geriatric nursing assistants and certified medicine aides in accordance with BGRV policies and regulatory requirements; which will include training, planning, assigning and directing work; as well as, appraising performance, coaching and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
